Anita has been an investor backing early trends with winning partners and established a distinguished track record in sustainable investments across the globe. In her last five and a half years with CDPQ, she established CDPQ’s office in India and soon after became Executive Vice President and Head of Emerging Markets at CDPQ. Her final post at CDPQ was as Executive Vice President and Deputy Head of CDPQ Global covering all geographies outside of Canada, supporting investments in renewable energy, highways, telecom, and venture fund investments in Emerging Markets. Anita spent 22 years at the World Bank Group with 14 of those years with the IFC in Infrastructure and Natural Resources, Municipal Finance and initiated the creation of IFC’s Venture group. Her various roles have led her to work in several regions of the world, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
Ms. George holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from Smith College, in Massachusetts, and a Masters in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Boston University.

Bala C Deshpande is the Founder and Partner of MegaDelta Capital. Of her 30 years of experience Bala has two decades of investing experience. She started her investing career with ICICI Venture in 2001 and in 2008 she joined NEA to set up their India platform. Over the years, she has invested and backed many disruptive companies in the mid-market space. In October 2018, she along with two Partners founded an independent investment firm, MegaDelta Capital. Prior to her investing experience, Bala has had deep operating experience with reputed multi-national firms such as ICI, Cadbury’s and BestFoods.
Bala's investment career spans multiple sectors and she has played an instrumental role in many innovative plays and entrepreneurial journeys. These include the first Internet IPO, first 24-hour news channel, first Payment Tech company, several consumer companies that redefined the sector etc.
She is a Board member of deeply disruptive companies like Info Edge Ltd., FSS, Greytip HR, MediSys Edutech, Panacea Medical Technologies, GOQii Inc etc. With her Board participation these companies have grown exponentially, emerged as category leaders and created immense shareholder value.

Kanchan is based in Mumbai and serves as an Executive Committee member for Boston Consulting Group, the firm’s apex decision-making body globally. She leads BCG’s Transactions & Integrations practice in APAC. She has also founded and leads BCG’s Principal Investors and Private Equity practice in India.
Kanchan has more than 20 years’ experience in management consulting primarily across TMT (technology, media & telecom) and private equity. Over the last 5 years, she has worked closely with most leading private equity investors in India, advising them on portfolio strategy, pre-deal diligence etc. She also works extensively with corporates as well as growth stage companies on topics spanning the transaction lifecycle e.g. fund raise / IPO, M&A, post-merger integration and divestitures.
She received her MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

Kunal Shroff is the Managing Partner at ChrysCapital and has been with the firm since 1999. He manages the organization and plays a critical role across various functions including investments, portfolio management and client relations. He was previously at Chilton Investment Company where he covered technology stocks, and at Goldman Sachs in their principal investment area in New York where he focused on private equity and mezzanine investments. Nupur Garg is a leading investor in private equity and venture capital and an expert advisor to large institutional investors. She is the founder of Winpe (https://winpeforum.com), an initiative to enhance gender diversity in the investing ecosystem.
Nupur serves as Chairperson of the board of Kids Clinic India Limited and an independent director on the boards of companies including Edelweiss Real Assets Managers Limited, Kerala Infrastructure Fund Management Limited and SIDBI, the Indian development finance institution. She is an independent member of the investment committee at the Fund of Funds managed by the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), the quasi-sovereign wealth fund sponsored by the government of India, and an advisor to and a member of the investment committee for the Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF) investment funds mandate given by the Dutch government for investments in SMEs in frontier markets across 75 countries. She has served as an external expert on the investment committee for the INR 10,000 crore Fund of Fund for Start-ups for investing in the Indian start-up ecosystem. Nupur advises select fund managers on a confidential basis on matters related to institutionalization, best practices and governance. She also mentors female entrepreneurs across various platforms.

Shweta is Managing Partner and India Head for Advent International. She has over 21 years of experience in Private Equity. She joined Advent in 2009. She has led and is managing investments of over $2 bn at Advent India across various sectors. Prior to that she worked for almost a decade at ICICI Venture, which at the time was the largest private equity firm in India. Shweta has experience in sourcing and negotiating transactions and advising on the management and successful exiting of investments through both sale to strategic buyers and listing of companies. She has experience of working across a wide range of sectors including consumer, healthcare, FIG and IT/BPO. Before joining ICICI Venture, she was working for a year at Ernst & Young in their corporate finance division.

Sunil specializes in fund selection, due diligence, negotiations, and monitoring of Asian investments ex-China, specifically in India, Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Korea. He also actively participates in all fund investment decisions and is involved in the sourcing, screening, execution, monitoring, and exiting of growth and buyout co-investments.
Prior to joining Adams Street, Sunil worked for Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore performing financial and business analyses of local and regional companies. Previously, he worked in India as an Investment and Strategy Associate in Tacogroup, the automotive technology and engineering investment arm of the Tata Group of India, where he worked on business planning, feasibility studies, and localization plans for new ventures.
Sunil manages relationships with several of Adams Street’s managers and sits on advisory boards of more than a dozen private equity firms within the Adams Street Partners portfolio. He is currently Vice-Chairman of the Singapore Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SVCA) and has been a member of the SVCA Board since 2016.
He is also a member of Adams Street’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee.
