Anju is a Xavier’s Institute of Mass Comm alumni. She spent over 25 years in the advertising profession and built a reputation as one of the most respected “strategic” Creative Directors. She decided to apply her skills to new challenges and started out on her own to build a social enterprise that married her passion for contributing to society with her love for food. She started with farming and then created the fresh dip category in India by skilling and empowering underprivileged women. She continues to apply “out of the box” thinking and has extended the Wingreens brand into sauces, mayo, baked chips, pasta, bakery mixes, herbs and seasonings, spice mixes, etc by developing the most delicious products that resonate with the evolving new age Indian consumer.

Wingreens acquired Raw Pressery marking its entry into better-for-you beverages. Wingreens World today also includes a millet muesli brand Monsoon Harvest, a gourmet sauces brand Saucery and an Indian local snack brand Postcard. She has established an innovative and inclusive business model at Wingreens World that continuously challenges the status quo.
