Karishma joined Motilal Oswal Alternates in 2021. She is responsible for transaction sourcing & evaluation, financial analysis, deal documentation and portfolio management.

Ms. Makhija has 15+years of experience across Private equity, M&A & Investment Banking. During her career, she has successfully executed transactions, some of the notable ones include private equity investments in SK Finance, Happy Forgings, AU SFB, TransUnion CIBIL, India Shelter Finance and acquisition of Micro Housing Finance by Svatantra Microfinance.

Karishma holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from NM College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
