Anita George

Anita has been an investor backing early trends with winning partners and established a distinguished track record in sustainable investments across the globe. In her last five and a half years with CDPQ, she established CDPQ’s office in India and soon after became Executive Vice President and Head of Emerging Markets at CDPQ. Her final post at CDPQ was as Executive Vice President and Deputy Head of CDPQ Global covering all geographies outside of Canada, supporting investments in renewable energy, highways, telecom, and venture fund investments in Emerging Markets. Anita spent 22 years at the World Bank Group with 14 of those years with the IFC in Infrastructure and Natural Resources, Municipal Finance and initiated the creation of IFC’s Venture group. Her various roles have led her to work in several regions of the world, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
Ms. George holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from Smith College, in Massachusetts, and a Masters in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Boston University.

Ken Mehlman has spent a quarter century working at the highest levels of public policy, business, philanthropy and social change. He is a KKR Partner, Global Head of Public Affairs & Co-Head of KKR Global Impact where he has architected & leads KKR’s responsible investment efforts. Ken spent a dozen years in national politics and government service, including as 62nd Chairman of the Republican National Committee and Campaign Manager of President Bush's 2004 re-election campaign, the only Republican presidential campaign in 30 years to win the popular vote. Ken graduated with a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He is a trustee of Mt. Sinai Hospital of New York, Franklin & Marshall College, Teach for America, and Sponsors of Educational Opportunity (SEO). Mehlman was active in the successful effort for marriage equality and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Mitch Truwit is co-CEO of Apax Partners and Chairman of Apax Digital.
Prior to joining Apax Partners in 2006, Mitch was the President and CEO of Orbitz Worldwide between 2005 and 2006 and was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of priceline.com between 2001 and 2005.
Mitch is a graduate of Vassar College where he received a BA in Political Science. He also has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
He serves as a Board member of Boats Group, KAR Global, Quality Distribution Inc and Trade Me. Prior boards include Advantage Sales & Marketing, Assured Partners, Dealer.com, Answers, Bankrate, Garda World, Hub International and Trader Canada.
Mitch serves on the charitable boards of the Apax Foundation, the John McEnroe Tennis Project, Posse and StreetSquash.

Ms. Renuka Ramnath is the Founder, Managing Director, and CEO of Multiples Alternate Asset Management, a private equity manager and advisor to funds of ~ USD 3 bn in AUM.
Renuka Ramnath is one of the most experienced private equity fund managers in India, with a career of over 35 years in financial services across private equity, investment banking, and structured finance. Ms. Ramnath started her career with the ICICI group which culminated in becoming the MD & CEO of ICICI Venture. She was instrumental in building it into one of the largest private equity funds in the country. In 2009, she took an entrepreneurial turn and founded Multiples, a leading Indian private equity platform.
Renuka is driven by the ripple effects of supporting entrepreneurs in building sustainable businesses, resulting in employment generation, economic stimulation, and facilitation of nation-building. She is a Board member of GPCA, the global industry association for private capital. She is the Chairperson of Tata Communications Limited, a public company in the TATA Group. Renuka was the Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the Indian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association 2020 – 2022.

Ms. Stephanie von Friedeburg is the IFC Interim Managing Director and Executive Vice President. She leads the implementation of IFC’s strategy to create projects and attract private investment in developing countries while increasing opportunities for women, scaling up investments to fight climate change, and promoting digital development. She is also IFC’s Chief Operating Officer and leads all investment operations and advisory services, managing a $59 billion debt and equity portfolio in more than 100 countries. Ms. von Friedeburg began her World Bank Group career almost three decades ago and developed strong expertise in Africa and Central and Eastern Europe and in sectors such as telecom, manufacturing, and a wide array of technologies. In addition to an MBA from the Wharton School, she holds a Master of Arts from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
