Anita has been an investor backing early trends with winning partners and established a distinguished track record in sustainable investments across the globe. In her last five and a half years with CDPQ, she established CDPQ’s office in India and soon after became Executive Vice President and Head of Emerging Markets at CDPQ. Her final post at CDPQ was as Executive Vice President and Deputy Head of CDPQ Global covering all geographies outside of Canada, supporting investments in renewable energy, highways, telecom, and venture fund investments in Emerging Markets. Anita spent 22 years at the World Bank Group with 14 of those years with the IFC in Infrastructure and Natural Resources, Municipal Finance and initiated the creation of IFC’s Venture group. Her various roles have led her to work in several regions of the world, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
Ms. George holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from Smith College, in Massachusetts, and a Masters in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Boston University.

Ken Mehlman has spent a quarter century working at the highest levels of public policy, business, philanthropy and social change. He is a KKR Partner, Global Head of Public Affairs & Co-Head of KKR Global Impact where he has architected & leads KKR’s responsible investment efforts. Ken spent a dozen years in national politics and government service, including as 62nd Chairman of the Republican National Committee and Campaign Manager of President Bush's 2004 re-election campaign, the only Republican presidential campaign in 30 years to win the popular vote. Ken graduated with a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He is a trustee of Mt. Sinai Hospital of New York, Franklin & Marshall College, Teach for America, and Sponsors of Educational Opportunity (SEO). Mehlman was active in the successful effort for marriage equality and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Renuka Ramnath is the Founder, Managing Director and CEO of Multiples Alternate Asset Management, a private equity manager and advisor to funds of ~ USD 1.5 bn. She has over 30 years of experience in the Indian financial sector across private equity, investment banking and structured finance.
For close to three decades in financial services, Renuka successfully built several businesses in the ICICI Group including Investment Banking, e-commerce and private equity. As the MD & CEO of ICICI Venture for close to a decade, she led that firm to become one of the largest private equity funds in India.
She is a Board member of EMPEA, the global industry association for private capital in emerging markets. She is also the Chairperson of the Executive Committee of Indian Venture Capital Association. Ms. Stephanie von Friedeburg is the IFC Interim Managing Director and Executive Vice President. She leads the implementation of IFC’s strategy to create projects and attract private investment in developing countries while increasing opportunities for women, scaling up investments to fight climate change, and promoting digital development. She is also IFC’s Chief Operating Officer and leads all investment operations and advisory services, managing a $59 billion debt and equity portfolio in more than 100 countries. Ms. von Friedeburg began her World Bank Group career almost three decades ago and developed strong expertise in Africa and Central and Eastern Europe and in sectors such as telecom, manufacturing, and a wide array of technologies. In addition to an MBA from the Wharton School, she holds a Master of Arts from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.

Gopal leads both the executive and investment functions at the firm and has personally led several of the Firm’s investments. Gopal has been investing in Indian equities since the age of thirteen and has been a professional investor in the Indian capital markets for almost thirty years. He is one of the more experienced private equity investors in India, having led or co-led over 25 private equity investments since his first investment in TV-18 in 1995. Several of the companies Gopal has backed have grown 10x in value since the investment. Prior to Gaja Capital, he was country head for the Boston-based View Group one of the pioneers in Indian private equity.
Gopal is an active columnist and is currently member of SEBI’s Alternative Investment Policy Advisory Committee and Indian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association’s Executive Committee. He has a deep interest in the social sector and leads Gaja Gives which supports a wide and growing number of philanthropic efforts in India.
Gopal is a Graduate in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi. He is remembered on the campus for being one of the first graduates from the institute to turn entrepreneur before graduating. He currently lives in Mumbai with his mother Sudesh, wife Chitra and daughters Srishti and Ira.

Previously, Mrs. Hall was a senior banker in the Investment Banking Group at Bank of America San Francisco as well as in the Corporate Finance Group at KPMG New York, where she focused on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, debt capital raises and public/private equity capital raises. Ms. Hall began her career as an audit associate with Ernst & Young LLP, USA.
Mrs. Hall obtained her bachelor in arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, after which she obtained her MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.

Nupur serves as Chairperson of the board of Kids Clinic India Limited and an independent director on the boards of companies including Edelweiss Real Assets Managers Limited, Kerala Infrastructure Fund Management Limited and SIDBI, the Indian development finance institution. She is an independent member of the investment committee at the Fund of Funds managed by the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), the quasi-sovereign wealth fund sponsored by the government of India, and an advisor to and a member of the investment committee for the Dutch Good Growth Fund (DGGF) investment funds mandate given by the Dutch government for investments in SMEs in frontier markets across 75 countries. Sujoy is a business leader with over three decades of extensive experience in emerging markets investing and project finance, covering infrastructure, industrials and services sectors. During his career, he has worked on projects covering over 50 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean. He joined NIIF as the MD & CEO in 2016 and is currently based in Mumbai. Prior to joining NIIF, he spent over 25 years at International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector investment and financing arm of the World Bank Group. During his tenure at IFC, he has held several leadership positions, with his last position being Director and Global Co-Head, Infrastructure and Natural Resources, based in Washington DC, managing a USD 14 billion portfolio. Prior to this position, he also served as the Chief Investment Officer and Head of IFC’s African Latin American and Caribbean Fund, based in Washington DC, where he managed and led a USD 1 billion regional growth fund to selectively co-invest with IFC. From 2006-2010, Sujoy led IFC’s Mumbai office and was responsible for managing its growth and building a strong team of 40 investment professionals as an important part of IFC’s goals for localization of its business. He started his career as a Management Associate with Citibank in Chennai in 1991 as part of the Credit Cards business within the Consumer Banking Group. Sujoy holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, India and is an MBA in Finance from Rice University, Houston, Texas.

In more recent times, Ankiti swiftly responded to the widespread shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during the COVID-19 pandemic by repurposing and expanding Zilingo’s network of buyers and sellers to procure and supply PPE to hospitals and governments worldwide. Adapting to changing consumer demands during mass lockdowns across countries, Ankiti spearheaded the company to expand its B2B offerings to multi-categories in health, household and other essential items, on its business solutions platform, Zilingo Trade.
